Last week Thursday, the #ZATranceFamily were once again treated to 30 Mins of Euphoria on the country’s top radio station, via DJ Fresh’s Ultimix @ 6, this time, showcasing the talents of young up ‘n coming JHB DJ & Producer, MUZIK.
Having only kicked off his performing career in 2009, Muzik already finds himself brushing elbows with the ZA Trance Elite, and with a residency at E.S.P. to boot, I suspect we’ll be seeing a fair deal of him to come.
I hope you all have recovered from ASOT500 last weekend because the international artists do not stop there. Next up we have The Love and Light Festival feat Neelix from Germany. Halo have been big supporters of the German progressive/psy trance DJ in the past and we are really excited to have him in Cape Town. The Love and Light Festival is set to take place from Friday 1 April at the Nekkies Camping Resort in Rawsonville, about an hour drive from Cape Town. Tickets are R220 for presold and R250 at the um door. Other International Live acts Perfect Stranger, Vaishiyas and Flowjob will be performing alongside some of South Africa’s finest DJ’s. The campsite gates will be open from 2pm on Friday 1 April. The Main stage opens at 11am on Saturday until 6pm on Sunday. A return shuttle service is on offer for those who do not want to drive. Details will be released closer to the time.
Halo has two tickets to give away for the event happening next week. So listen up this coming weekend to Halo Live on Saturday night between 21:00 and 24:00 on UCT Radio 104.5fm for more detail on how to get your hands on those tickets and a liveset from Neelix to get you in the mood. Halo crew will be supporting and it would be good to see you there.
While it’s HARD FACT that Tiesto paved the way for DJ’s ‘In Concert’ ..Armin now OWNS it!
The productions level and sheer scale of this concert are IN SANE! This arena is so big ..that I reckon only half the people attending, could actually see what was going on ..yet they parted with their hard earned cash ..just to be a part of what it probably one of the biggest Trance spectacles, on the 2010 calender ..ARMIN ONLY..
Tone Diary’s head honcho, Marcus Schossow, got given the reigns of the Radio 1’s airwaves this past weekend for his Essential Mix debut. With releases on labels such as Black Hole, Coldharbour and Anjuadeep, and his blend of electro, techno and trance is uniting house-heads and trance-addicts the world over, this is definitely worth checking out.
